  • Political sign recycling?

    ssolsman@gmail.com asked 5 months ago

Yes, the City is accepting yard signs for recycling at the same location as Styrofoam collection, just off Municipal Way across from City Hall. Collection will occur until at least Nov. 13.

  • Not a question, but a suggestion. With Christmas coming up, it might be a good time to remind residents of the styrofoam recycling dropoff service and location. There tend to be a lot of flat screen TV boxes at the curbs full of styrofoam every year.

    Phil asked 5 months ago

Thanks for the question. We typically communicate this closer to the holidays, and there is sometimes a Styrofoam collection event around that time of year hosted by the Environmental Sustainability Commission.

  • I live just outside of Hilliard area (by Cosgray and Hayden Run Road), am senior, mailing address is Dublin but school district is Columbus. Can I participate in any of the events/classes that are listing in your newsletter?

    iapadamsee asked 5 months ago

You certainly can! To register for programs, you'll just need to create a RecTrac account (https://hilliardohio.gov/recreation-and-parks-webtrac/?wt_user) and City staff will verify your address. You'll then be able to sign up for programs, join our senior center, or take part in other activities as a non-resident. If you have any challenges setting up the account, just reach out to our Community Center staff at (614) 876-5200

Jr71797gr asked almost 1 year ago

The new community center will have multipurpose courts that will include pickleball, and there is money budgeted in the 2024 Capital Improvements Program for some additional courts in the parks. Locations and number of courts are to be determined.
