Why did the City of Hilliard create Talk2Us Hilliard?
We get it. We all lead busy lives. But we also know you care deeply about your community and want your voice to be heard!
It’s not always convenient to attend public meetings or to put all your thoughts in writing. Social media is also not the ideal environment for having your voice heard. So we created Talk2Us Hilliard to make it easy and convenient for everyone to have their say on issues that are important to them!
Talk2Us Hilliard is quick, safe, and convenient. You can see what other community members think about an issue or topic, respond with your own views, and engage in a civil discussion. You can be actively engaged with your local government from your own home, business – or even from the beach, because Talk2Us is designed to be mobile friendly!
How do I submit my feedback?
Each project we place on Talk2Us Hilliard will be unique, depending upon the engagement level required for that project. In some cases, we might be interested in your thoughts about developing major plans affecting our community for years to come. For other projects, we might be asking a quick question, taking the pulse of the community, or opening the floor for discussion.

To participate, you’ll first need to register.
Why do I need to register on this site to make a comment?
You can access Talk2Us Hilliard without registering, but registration is necessary to take part in the more significant interactive engagement opportunities.
Registering helps us ensure our whole community is being heard, rather than just a few voices. It also helps us attribute feedback and frequency of participation to individuals.
It promotes accountability and encourages people to provide more thoughtful responses, because feedback can be attributed to them.
It also helps us communicate information and updates back to you.
Can I use this site anonymously?
Yes, you can participate anonymously because you are identified by your chosen screen name, which you select when you register.
What happens to my feedback/comments?
Comments, ideas, and suggestions are provided to members of the relevant project teams to help create strategies, programs and activities. They also help us understand community views and opinions. Members of City Council, boards, and commissions also appreciate this community feedback in making their decisions.
Remember that Talk2Us Hilliard is just one way the City engages with its community. We’re also interested in hearing from the community at public meetings, through calls and emails, in face-to-face meetings, and in other ways.
All feedback provided will be considered. Of course, it is not possible for every suggestion to affect the project or be adopted as proposed.
Are my comments a public record?

The City will only use your email to contact you with updates and to invite you to participate in consultations.

We want to keep it positive! While you may not agree with all comments submitted, we ask that you respect other participants' experience, perspective, and opinion.
